I’m grateful for my best friend via /r/gratitude

Day 3
I don’t have a lot of people I’m close to or that I consider really important to me but I’ve had the same best friend since the 7th grade. It’s been over 15 years now and every year that I get older I realize how rare it is to have someone in your life that truly loves you and wants what’s best for you, even when you aren’t wanting whats best for you. I haven’t been able to be a big part of my blood nephews lives due to family circumstances and now that she’s pregnant I’m so excited that she’s giving me the opportunity to be part of her little girls life and I can’t wait to see the amazing mom she’ll be and who this new little person will be. I don’t think she realizes how much the little tik toks and random pictures/texts mean to me and how many times she has saved my life without even knowing it.
