I’m grateful for knowing I’m “Enough” for me via /r/gratitude

Today, my girlfriend came back from her trip to Izmir and she was supposed to message me, but she ignored my messages on our 11th month together, when we are supposed to celebrate. At first, I was sad knowing she is messaging other people since she has left me on read, but I am grateful to know, that no matter what happens at least I am enough for me. At least I have me.

I don't need her validation or attention from her side. If she doesn't appreciate me, I will appreciate myself because I am more than enough. I am grateful to myself for being there for myself when others have not been there for me, and I am grateful I have a sense of respect not to hurt other people the same way they are hurting me.

I am human, I am enough.
