
Neuroplasticity
I'm pretty strict on myself about what and when I eat. I've had a really strict schedule in place for the past few years. I think it's time for me to change this. I tend to be always thinking about food, when I'm gonna eat, what I'm gonna eat and when I don't have a set plan my mind goes into chaos mode reflexively. It's gotten to the point where just the thought of food makes my anxiety ramp up. This week I'm working on changing that. I'm gonna try to listen or feel for my hunger cues and eat intuitively while also honoring when I'm full by stopping eating. I'm grateful for neuroplasticity because I know it's possible to change these habits by changing my routine and teaching my brain that it's ok to just trust my bodies cues for when to start and when to stop eating.
